SHAREDXPERTISE, FORMERLY THE SBPOA, FINANCE TRANSFORMATION EUROPE CONFERENCE
23 – 25 October, Brussels, Belgium

Brussels, 4 September, 2007 - Finance Transformation Europe is an exclusive annual event that brings together an international pool of over 100 senior executives engaged in transforming finance and accounting (F&A) functions. The 2007 edition focuses on Strategy, Applications, and People in Shared Services and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and is guaranteed to provide participants with exclusive insights from its selection of outstanding speakers and their topical case studies, presentations, contributions to organized discussions and innovative networking opportunities designed specifically for industry practitioners.

The leading event will open on 23 October in Brussels with the pre-conference Transformation Master Class and the launch of the SharedXpertise Finance Forum – the independent association for executives transforming their finance functions through shared services and outsourcing - and continue on 24 and 25 October.

Featured speakers include experts from the following companies: Avis, Berlingske Officin, Borderless Executive Search, Borealis Polymers, BP, Bureau Veritas, Coca Cola Enterprises, Dell, Delphi, Deutsche Bank, EquaTerra, EuroServices Bayer, The Hackett Group, Latham & Watkins, Newell Rubbermaid, PA Consulting, Philips, SAP, Tetra Pak, and Zurich Financial Services.

Senior executives from SharedXpertise will also offer their views on the growth potential and possible obstacles that lie ahead for F&A transformation in Europe.

As Prof. Dr. Soeren Dressler, chairman of the conference, states, “Shared Services and BPO are not fads – they mark an evolution in organizational theory. In a digitized world with sophisticated communication tools, bundling of support functions (whether through Shared Services, BPO, or some combination of the two) is a must for any organization that operates back office functions in two or more locations and/or in two or more organizational units.”

Finance Transformation Europe takes place at the Jolly Hotel Du Grand Sablon in Brussels, Belgium, on 23 - 25 October 2007.More information can be accessed at www.sharedxpertise.org/finance.
