PC Tools opens finance shared services in Shannon, Ireland

Software developer PC Tools is to set up its HQ and finance shared service center in Shannon, Ireland, in Shannon's Free Zone. The company specializes in developing security software for Windows. Its products have been downloaded over 125 million times.
Tom Foley, European financial controller, PC Tools Software, said: “We are delighted to be establishing our European HQ and finance shared service center in Ireland. This is an important step for PC Tools Software as we have now found a home for our European shared service and customer contact center, which is an important part of our global business.”
Kevin Thompstone, chief executive, Shannon Development, said: “PC Tools Software will be a strong addition to the emerging e-commerce sector at Shannon. The arrival of this global player clearly demonstrates that Shannon can provide the skilled labor and the support infrastructure required by world-leading companies.”
