Atos Consulting, the business consulting arm of Atos Origin, announced the appointment of a new partner, Parry Jenkins, to join the Public Sector team. Parry will focus on further developing the public sector business, especially in Central Government.

Parry, who has extensive experience in IT deployment, business change, programme and operational management, joins Atos Consulting after spending four years working as an independent consultant at the Child Support Agency. Prior to this he was a partner in the Government Operating Group of Accenture Plc where he led projects across a number of different Central Government departments.

“I am really pleased to be joining Atos Consulting where I see a lot of potential and opportunity for business growth” said Parry. “I have been really impressed by the calibre of the consultants in the organisation and am looking forward to developing opportunities both in consulting and with my colleagues in managed operations and systems integration.”

“We are delighted to welcome Parry to the Atos Consulting team,” said Mike Hobday, head of Consulting. “His appointment further strengthens our public sector team and his knowledge and experience will be invaluable as we continue to work with Central Government Departments.”

Leveraging over 25 years’ public sector experience, Atos Origin is a major provider of IT and consulting services to the public sector. Atos Origin works in partnership with Government to deliver smart, innovative and flexible solutions that help public sector clients deliver citizen-centric services.

Atos Consulting has a dedicated public sector team that enables government organisations to run their operations more securely, cost-effectively and efficiently. Clients include the Cabinet Office, DFID, Department for Transport, Department for Work and Pensions and the Ministry of Defence.
