There is growing and undisputed evidence that creating, managing and developing effective outsourcing provider relationships is key to the success of any sourcing operation.
Outsourcing is not just the establishment and signing of a contract. It is a relationship that must be managed daily on a range of levels to be successful.
Topics to be covered in this session include:
- Building an effective and flexible partnership based on transparency and trust
- Understanding where and how the relationship derails; how to anticipate and resolve problems before they appear; what corrective action to take when necessary
- Striking the right balance between day-to-day operations, while maintaining governance
- Juggling operational and strategic priorities while maintaining the relationship and flexibility
- Dealing with quality of delivery/ service issues
- Effectively managing vendor orientation

Category managers, contract administrators, transformation team managers and operations managers.
This course is a 'Skills Development' session. Skills Development sessions focus on the tactical and experiential - "rules and tools" - that can be easily adapted and quickly deployed by corporate managers throughout the transformation process.
