National Australia Bank outsources procurement-to-pay services to Xchanging

National Australia Bank U.K. has appointed Xchanging, a business-processing services company, to manage indirect spend and transactional-procurement processing on behalf of Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank.
The deal covers all of the indirect spend transacted by Clydesdale Bank, headquartered in Glasgow, and Yorkshire Bank, headquartered in Leeds, both wholly-owned subsidiaries of NAB, U.K. The sourcing categories include: Marketing, ATMs, travel, recruitment, facilities/utilities management as well as non-core IT spend.

As part of the partnership, Xchanging will also manage the bank’s transactional-procurement activity, such as order raising and invoice processing, by delivering a fully managed procure-to-pay service.
