Genpact opens outsourcing center in the Philippines

Genpact announces it will open its newest business-processing center in the Philippines this summer. Recruiting has begun at the 5,400 sq. meter facility in the Alabang suburb of Manila, where professionals will provide finance & accounting services, customer-service support, collections, and IT services to Genpact's increasing roster of global clients. It is the seventh country of operations for Genpact, formerly known as GE Capital International Services.
Genpact Senior Vice President Ashok Tyagi said the quality of recruits in the area has been "exceedingly high." He commended the municipal Alabang government as well as the Philippine government for their support in welcoming Genpact to the community.
Alabang will be Genpact's nineteenth global operations center. Others are located in the United States, Mexico, Hungary, Romania, India, and China. On March 17, Genpact announced it will open a 125,000 sq. ft. facility in Juarez, Mexico. The company already operates two centers there.
