Alsbridge, the independent advisors on Outsourcing, Shared Services and Offshoring today announced it has been awarded Accredited Catalist Supplier status for the provision of Outsourcing and Shared Services consultancy across the public sector. The decision of the UK Office of Government Commerce's (OGC) executive agency, OGCbuying.solutions, has been warmly welcomed.

OGCbuying.solutions awarded this framework agreement based on Alsbridge's ability to offer public sector customers high-level consultancy and design services relating to the identification and selection of optimum business sourcing arrangements such as Shared Services. It also includes In-house service provision, Business Process Outsourcing, Transformational Outsourcing, Offshoring, Near Shoring, In-Sourcing and Backsourcing. Alsbridge brings extensive knowledge and experience in all these areas, and will significantly assist the decision-making and transition processes for public sector organisations.

Alsbridge has previously been awarded a number of assignments within the public sector, including the Cabinet Office, Home Office, DEFRA, HMRC, Department for Transport, England and Wales Police, NHS and a number of local authorities.

Alsbridge partner Tim Lloyd said "Alsbridge is committed to helping the public sector maximise efficiency and value for money. The OGCbuying.solutions' selection and approval process is extremely rigorous and competitive. We are delighted that we are one of the few companies to be selected."
