Aegis InterWorld Inc. (AIW), a global provider of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services and solutions, announced the appointment of three key executives who will bolster the company's operational strengths, support the growing customer base and spearhead expansion into the global BPO market.
Joining AIW are Mark J. Genereaux as executive vice president of operations, Terry Maready as chief technology officer and Robert S. Weis as executive vice president of client services.
"Mark, Terry and Robert are all proven veterans of the supply chain and logistics industry. Their deep expertise will be instrumental in expanding our operations as Aegis InterWorld is uniquely poised to take advantage of the burgeoning logistics business process outsourcing market," says Mark A. Skoda, CEO of AIW. "I look forward to working closely with the executive team to build upon our current success and provide a significant strategic asset for our customers."
Genereaux brings 15 years of experience in the logistics industry, including 10 years within the outsourcing supply chain management market. Prior to his current position at Aegis InterWorld, Genereaux was instrumental in orchestrating the growth of MARK VII Worldwide Logistics to a multimillion-dollar company in the emerging third party logistics (3PL) industry. In addition, as president and chief operating officer of Exel Transportation Services, Genereaux spearheaded the organization's critical evolution to an innovative Web-based multi-modal technology platform subsequently adopted by Exel, the global leader in supply chain management.
Maready possesses over 25 years of technical and senior-level management experience, including work at the United States Department of Defense. Most recently, Maready co-founded Trinitas Technologies, Inc., an innovative service and consulting firm focused on delivering cost effective technology-enabled logistics solutions to 3PL companies. Prior to Trinitas, he served as vice president of supply chain engineering and technology for Neologex as well as corporate senior director of the supply chain technology center for Exel Americas. Maready also served as the Chief Technology Officer of Mark VII, Inc.
Weis has over 15 years experience in technical operations management and solution services. Weis most recently served as president of InterWorld Holdings (IWH), responsible for leading the day-to-day management and operation of the company's domestic and international businesses. Prior to being named president at IWH, Weis was an executive vice president, focused on customer and partner relationship activities, including global account management, professional services, technical support and training. Weis also lead the development of professional services and consulting for Flexi International Software, Inc. and worked for GE Capital focusing on process re-engineering within the shipping container business.
