IT services provider LogicaCMG has teamed up with information capture developer DICOM Group to win a five-year shared services deal with the Queensland State Government to provide information capture across more than 30 government departments and agencies.
Recently, the Queensland State Government adopted a shared services business model, as part of its whole of government approach to the delivery of business services. The strategy is designed to provide a common infrastructure for IT service delivery and an improvement of information management processes.
The information capture solution will be deployed for Queensland’s government departments as well as centralized support functions, including finance, human resources, technology, property and facilities management.
