FAO Research, Inc., the world’s first independent research firm focused solely on the Finance and Accounting Outsourcing market, launched operations today to help finance and accounting outsourcing (FAO) service providers improve their operations and better serve their corporate customers.

The need for assistance with regulatory compliance and an increased competitive landscape have caused many large companies to seek third-party FAO assistance as a matter of regular business. With an industry poised for explosive growth, FAO service providers are beefing up their portfolios to help companies have more cost effective, efficient means of streamlining internal finance and accounting functions.

FAO Research, Inc. focuses 100% of its resources on helping FAO suppliers understand their markets, competition and customers better. “Our firm will provide the most comprehensive FAO market and competitive intelligence in the industry,” said Lisa Ross, CEO and Founder of FAO Research, Inc., “and will publish more than a dozen detailed FAO reports over the course of the year.”

Topics will include: in-depth analyses of full-scale and niche FAO service providers and their offerings, case studies of corporations that already have outsourced finance and accounting business functions, analyses of buyer needs in the FAO domain and overviews of FAO contract activity around the world. Starting next month, the firm will publish “FAO Market Review,” a free quarterly report with receipt available upon registration at www.faoresearch.com.

Despite its recent launch, FAO Research, Inc. comes with a heritage of providing market and competitive intelligence to global outsourcing suppliers. “For nearly five years, my former company, Ross Research, provided market research and strategic consulting services for the largest outsourcing suppliers worldwide,” said Ross. “In recognition of our success in this area, we have brought together a new array of research products and services with the prime focus of helping outsourcers create value and real competitive advantage with their FAO offerings.”

Said Ross, “We expect our client base for research and consultancy services to grow rapidly, as we have seen much interest recently from FAO service providers in the United States and overseas, particularly in the United Kingdom and other Western European countries.” She added, “Our reports and custom research services will help FAO service providers bridge the gap between their buyers’ needs and their current offerings and provide them with a clear roadmap for future market and business development success.”
