Glaxo to offshore financial jobs and clinical trials

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), the British pharmaceutical company, will offshore around 150 financial jobs from Heathrow, UK to India. The firm, in order to cut costs, has also decided to increase its clinical trials in low-cost countries like China, India and Poland.
GSK is planning to offshore one third of its clinical trials within the next two years. At present, more than 90 percent of the firm's human trials are conducted in the West.-
