MOOS – Making Offshore Outsourcing Sustainable – is a pan-European trade union project which aims to develop rules and guidance for stakeholders for making offshoring sustainable in social and economic terms. The project concentrates on the transfer of jobs within the professional and knowledge intensive sectors of the economy. The main focus is on business services and IT-sector jobs moving from Europe to developing economies in Asia, South America and Africa.
MOOS is coordinated by UNI-Europa IBITS supported by a project team including eight partner organisations from six European countries (Sweden, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Germany) and is implemented with the support of the European Social Fund, Article 6 Innovative Measures.All information concerning the MOOS project can be found at the following address: www.moosproject.be
