Accenture names Kevin Campbell Global Managing Director - Business Process Outsourcing

Accenture today announced that Kevin Campbell has rejoined the company as Global Managing Director - Business Process Outsourcing, a new position.

In this role, Mr. Campbell, 45, has operational and client management responsibility for Accenture's cross-industry BPO businesses, including Accenture Finance Solutions, Accenture Learning and Accenture Procurement Solutions, as well as the company's industry-specific BPO businesses, which include Accenture Insurance Services, among others. A key area of focus for Mr. Campbell in his new position is identifying and pursuing new areas of opportunity for Accenture's growing BPO capabilities. Mr. Campbell reports to Joellin Comerford, Accenture's group chief executive - Outsourcing & BPO Businesses, and serves on Accenture's Executive Leadership Team. Ms. Comerford retains all responsibility for Accenture HR Services.

Mr. Campbell was previously with Accenture from 1982 until 1999. In his last position with the company he was the partner in charge of outsourcing for the Resources operating group, where he helped pioneer Accenture's BPO activities. He rejoins Accenture from Hewitt Associates, where he was market strategy and development leader of Hewitt's HR outsourcing business. Prior to that, he was president and chief operating officer of Exult Inc. Hewitt merged with Exult in October 2004.

Mr. Campbell holds a bachelor of science degree from the School of Management at Boston College.
