The company also launches four new global services to assist multinational sourcing clients. TPI, Inc., a sourcing advisory firm, has opened an office in Bangalore in response to growing needs from TPI clients for advisory services focused on the Indian region and to provide local-market insights. The firm has advised on more than 650 transactions with a total contract value of more than $360 billion.

"Establishing a physical presence in India will give our clients more immediate and accurate information on local market conditions," said TPI Asia Pacific partner and MD Arno Franz. "That kind of information can positively impact global sourcing management strategies for all our clients with sourcing relationships or captive centers in the Indian region," he added.

Heading the TPI India office is former MD and head of BearingPoint India, Siddharth A Pai. He said, "Global delivery has become crucial to our clients and integral to larger outsourcing relationships for both IT and business process services. With the contracts in India getting larger and more specific, TPI decided it was time to enter the Indian market".

According to the press release, the launch of operations India marks TPI's push into the rapidly emerging Asian market. TPI would offer its entire range of sourcing advisory services including the following discrete services that address specific needs of corporations – sourcing assessments & strategy design, global service delivery services, sourcing services for CRM, finance & accounting, human resources, IT and procurement among others.

In addition to setting up its operations in India, TPI has expanded its global services delivery (GSD) advisory services to include four new offerings to support its client base of multinational corporations pursuing global sourcing strategies. TPI's GSD offerings now include global strategy development, operating model definition, captive center development and global operational review service.
