Adaptis, a Seattle-based company providing business process outsourcing (BPO) services to the healthcare industry, today announced the hiring of Mr. Stanley Glassman as chief business development officer.
Mr. Glassman, a highly experienced healthcare industry leader, served most recently as the division president and corporate senior vice president of St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers of New York."We are thrilled to have Stan as part of our executive leadership team and highly anticipate the value that his in-depth healthcare knowledge and strong business development experience will provide," stated James K. Anderson, CEO of Adaptis. "Stan's past success in the development and implementation of growth strategies will be a tremendous asset to Adaptis as we look to expand our offerings to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the healthcare BPO market."
Initially, Mr. Glassman will focus on the development of strategic partnerships for the company, as well as its planned expansion into medical management services, which provides a natural complement to its comprehensive BPO services offering.
"It is an honor to join a team which is playing a significant part in transforming healthcare by assisting its customers in strategic growth and cost management strategies," said Mr. Glassman. "As a former purchaser of BPO services, I understand the importance of partner collaboration and the need to go the extra mile to save costs without compromising care quality. I look forward to continuing this tradition by helping Adaptis develop new services and new market opportunities." A key reason Glassman was drawn to Adaptis was the company's unique client-intimate and collaborative-style relationship approach, which provides clients the expertise plus flexibility and control they need to positively transform operations to ultimately benefit their patients.
Mr. Glassman is an operationally-oriented healthcare leader with a reputation for building and leading senior management teams. Prior to joining Adaptis, Glassman held senior executive positions with a number of prestigious health plans, hospitals and integrated delivery systems including AmeriHealth Insurance Plans, Aetna Health Plans, US Family Health Plan (USFHP), Montefiore Medical Center and United Health Services.
Mr. Glassman brings 30 years of executive experience in the healthcare industry to Adaptis and is a board certified healthcare executive holding a Fellowship certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
